[Newspoint] A running commentary

The defense in Sara Duterte’s trial is succeeding in dragging it out by playing to the vulnerabilities of a court apparently afraid to be seen as less than fair. Understandably, a court composed mostly of members of the political majority is not unlikely to feel that way.
