A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG), she is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). The ABOG is a non-profit organization that provides board certification for practicing obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.

Furthermore, she holds additional board certification through the American Board of Anti-Aging / Regenerative Medicine. Today, Dr. Abeysinghe is affiliated with many organizations of her professional peers.
