In a world where metal is used for almost every application, from structural to aesthetic, it is no surprise that rust is a bigger problem than ever. Fortunately, the solution has been available since the late 1930s. Jenolite has been used in industry applications to remove and protect from rust and corrosion for over 75 years. Now, the product is being made available to consumers via major retailers Asda, The Range and Home Hardware for home use.

Whether individuals are looking to restore old metalwork, protect steel features around the house, or simply maintain bicycle chains and household tools, Jenolite (jenolite.co.uk) can offer both jelly and liquid solutions that will effectively remove rust and corrosion while preventing future problems. The company also sells primer, that can be used on new surfaces to ensure rust prevention.

The introduction of the product to retailers marks a major expansion for Jenolite, which has long been considered a specialist product for industry applications across car manufacturing, farming, naval and other applications, where extremes of exposure can advance corrosion significantly. As such, Jenolite has been tested by the worst conditions, making it a best recommended product.

A spokesperson for Jenolite Rust Remover explained, “Jenolite has been around since 1939, and since then we’ve not seen a better product for removing rust and corrosion, and preventing it from coming back. Already a best seller in industrial applications, we are excited to announce partnerships with major retailers like Asda, who will help us penetrate the consumer market. The applications for this product are so diverse that we are confident consumers will see its advantages, and ensure they always have some Jenolite in the home to deal with rust spots and corrosion.”
